Our Programs and Services
Sm-Zoto Inc. has some programs and activities that are planned and tour services are for all the shanties to have their own home.
Training-Organizing Program (TOP)
The program has dual functions – Education and Training and Community Organizing. The latter is geared towards mobilizing community.
Participation through facts based, pro-people approaches; such as those that develop maintained responsibility towards goals. The formed leads to action.
The TOP staff nudges changes in the direction of sustainable development – assisting the community, build strong human, social, and physical resources. This is done via information, education and training, paralegal services, local mass struggles and organizational management.
Such services and facilities of the TOP help the urban poor communities strengthen their rights, work on their democratic demands and strengthen and broaden the scope and influence of their People’s Organization and as a contribution to the Urban Poor movement in general.


Gender Equality Program
Aims to promote awareness, understanding, and respect for women’s rights and broader gender equality issues within communities. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, the program encourages individuals—especially youth—to recognize and uphold the principles of equality, dignity, and human rights for all genders.
Child’s Right Program
Child’s rights awaremess is now beng advocated and included in all of the organization’s programs, policies and projects. Daycare Centers have been set up in the relocation sites where it is right now. This is one way of affording quality early childhood education. It also involves Parents Councils in child and community development.


Primary Health Care and Integrated Reproductive Health Program
The project aims at increasing the demand for utilization and access of comprehensive RH information and services for men, women and adolescents specifically on Maternal and Child Health, Violence against Women, Family Planning, Adolescence Sexuality and Reproductive Health RTIs/HIV/ AIDS.
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Program
DRRMP is a response to the increasing risks from natural and human-induced disasters to which the urban poor communities are vulnerable. Climate change is worsening the impacts of these disasters. It applies the principles of human rights, child rights, women’s rights and gender responsiveness to disaster preparedness and response. The Program contributes to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan of the Philippine Government.


Sustainability and Organizational Capacity Development
Sustainability and organizational capacity development strengthen organization’s ability to manage, adapt, and sustain performance over time, ensuring long-term survival through improved, efficient, and resilient internal processes. It involves integrating sustainable practices, enhancing skills, and fostering a culture of continuous learning to address environmental, social, and economic goals.
