Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Program
DRRMP is a response to the increasing risks from natural and human-induced disasters to which the urban poor communities are vulnerable. Climate change is worsening the impacts of these disasters. It applies the principles of human rights, child rights, women’s rights and gender responsiveness to disaster preparedness and response. The Program contributes to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan of the Philippine Government.
